Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of the principles of risk management as related to loss prevention.
* Knowledge of standard practices, methods and techniques used in loss prevention.
* Ability to analyze statistical and factual reports and determine proper course of action.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Skill in presenting educational or informative material to various groups.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, peers and the public
* Familiar with current OSHA, MSHA, NFPA, NEC, Life Safety, EEO and other codes and requirements as they apply to loss control.
* Ability to develop training programs.

Preparation for Position
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, safety or a related field and one or more years of demonstrated experience in safety/loss prevention program development and implementation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
